In Keepsake/Monument artist Mariken Wessels (Vlaardingen, The Netherlands, 1963) investigates the tension between life and death, fluidity and fixation. Through her lens flowers become protagonists of a parallel world where colors and shapes collapse in an acid vision of reality. The 14 loose prints can be either flipped through as in a book, or framed to set up your personal Ikebana wall.
