Ceramiche San Polo was founded in Venice in 1947 by Riccardo Mason. Artist Otello Rosa was artistic director of the company during the 1950’s, and he brought in significant innovations thanks to the artistic freedom he was granted by the founder. Organic shapes and the bold use of enamel are amongst his distinctive traits.
